Make Your Fitness Investment Work Harder
Ascend Fitness & Spa has partnered with Truemed to help qualified customers use their HSA or FSA benefits for eligible fitness expenses.
Through Truemed, an independent licensed practitioner reviews your health information and determines whether your Ascend fitness membership or personal training is medically necessary. If you qualify, you will receive a Letter of Medical Necessity that can be used to request reimbursement from your HSA/FSA administrator.
How it Works
Check Your Eligibility
Complete Truemed’s health survey and $20 clinical intake.
Receive Your Letter of Medical Necessity
If approved, you’ll receive a Letter of Medical Necessity valid for 12 months.
Purchase Through Ascend
Purchase your eligible membership or personal training through Mindbody.
Request Reimbursement
Submit your letter and Mindbody receipt to your HSA/FSA administrator.
ELIGIBLE ASCEND SERVICES
Eligibility depends on your individual health circumstances and the assessment of an independent licensed practitioner. Ascend’s current Truemed program applies to the following services for qualified customers:
Fitness Memberships
Personal Training
Qualification is not guaranteed. Truemed, not Ascend Fitness & Spa, determines whether a customer and expense qualify for HSA/FSA reimbursement.
